Took Titan to the vet a couple weeks ago and he was suppose to be treated for coccidea....so I gave him his medicine w/out fail every morning for 11 days like I was suppose to. He also sounded like he was trying to cough up something. The vet told me he was just probably allergic to something....anyways they tested him for parasites, and worms...nothing. SOOOO now it's worse. He still has a blood in his poop and this morning he coughed up some foamy stuff. SOOO I got him an appointment this afternoon. If they dont' fix this problem I'm taking him elsewhere! My baby WILL be fine! A cough my ass, something's wrong and they are going to get it fixed! Scares me so much.....

Hey! If Titan was diagnosed with coccidia, you're ground is contaminated with it. Every time he poops, the ground is contaminated. All he has to do is lick himself or paws to reinfect himself. If you can, I'd pick up his poop and spray that area with bleach. I wouldn't entirely spray the whole yard...would be tiresome and not cost efficient but spraying the area he has already pooped should kill the parasite. Just don't let him eat his own poop and try cleaning his paws every once in awhile to keep reinfection from happening.
Heidi had it once and she also had contracted whipworm which is more of a pain in the old behind! She got that from having to sleep outside at my great grandma's house and they had it in their yard. Ugh! Thankfully, Daisy hasn't had any problems as of late. Which reminds me today is the first....must put on the old Revolution to keep heartworm and fleas at bay!
Ended up thats not what he had. He has really bad allergies to his food, and the "air" in general, I've switched his food and have him on some tagament and all is well so far! Woohoo! lol!
